Abstract:

Mycoplasma pneumoniae pneumonia (MPP) is a common community-acquired pneumonia in clinical practice. In recent years, the macrolide resistance rate has continued to rise, and integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine therapy has attracted increasing attention. At present, traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndrome differentiation for MPP is dominated by defense-qi-nutrient-blood syndrome differentiation and zang-fu syndrome differentiation, while the systematic application of Six-Meridian syndrome differentiation in MPP remains in its initial stage. The authors systematically review the theoretical connotation of Six-Meridian syndrome differentiation and its application basis in acute respiratory febrile diseases, summarize the distribution patterns of mainstream TCM syndromes in MPP and the research progress of classical prescription (Jingfang) therapy, analyze the theoretical basis and practical exploration of introducing Six-Meridian syndrome differentiation into MPP, point out the deficiencies of current studies in theoretical construction, clinical evidence, and standardization of syndrome differentiation, and propose future research directions, aiming to provide a reference for establishing the Six-Meridian syndrome differentiation system for MPP and promoting integrated traditional Chinese and Western medicine treatment.
